Back to today’s post, I am again excited to bring our Star bride to be to you in person of Miss Omolara.
Beautiful Omolara contacted us requesting for a beautiful and affordable fabric for her introduction ceremony which is a ‘pre-traditional wedding’ ceremony in Nigeria where families of intending couples meet with each other to make plans for the wedding of their children. I must say its a big deal here!
So you know she has to look her best as she will be the cynosure of all eyes and will be meeting some of her groom’s extended family members for the first time.
We sent options to her as per fabrics, color and Accessories combinations. And she finally settled for the peach on peach with gold accessories which turned out so beautiful and elegant.
Her boo also got a cream fabric with the peach asooke and they both slayed!
Let’s see the evidence in pictures from the introduction ceremony:
Awesome pictures by Debola styles.
Again, I will like to say massive congratulations to Miss Omolara and her boo. Your home is blessed and your star will continue to shine. I love you!
Her mum also got a tulle lace from us.
Looking forward to styling you for your traditional wedding and friend’s Asoebi soon.
P.s: Don’t forget to turn up at our pop up shop this weekend.
It is my delight to bring our amazing #theasoebijunkiestarcouple to you as they rocked theasoebijunkie asooke on their big day.
Our bride- Now Mrs Adeleke made it clear that she wanted a unique and gorgeous design of asooke for the traditional wedding and not the regular hand-cut buba but something easy breezy that will be airy and not so heavy.
So we decided to make a tiny interlace hand cut buba in champagne gold with patches of orange and neon green to represent her color theme with lots of blings scattered on it.
The wrapper was a plain champagne gold asooke but we also joined the tiny inter lace handcut to the lower part which turned out so beautiful.
Because the buba and wrapper had a burst of colors, we decided to tone it down with a plain white head-tie and ipele embellished with gold stones and pearls which the bride slayed stylishly on her big day.
The groom also looked regal in his champagne gold agbada with white embroidery design and champagne gold cap.
Theasoebijunkie brand is so proud of the final outcome of the couple’s attire and we are grateful to be part of your big day!
Now let’s see the amazing pictures from Ripples Photography:

Back to today’s post, Ms Stephanie Cook got our contact online and sent us a message on whatsapp requesting for two asoebi fabrics for a wedding in Enugu State.
She wanted a yellow fabric for a set of guests and another blue fabric for another set of guests.
We exchanged pictures and concluded on a yellow tulle fabric embellished with stones and pearls which is the same fabric in orange color for a wedding I posted earlier HERE
And then a tree inspired sequined tulle lace fabric in cobalt blue.
We got the fabric ready and sent to Enugu in December and also delivered to some people in Lagos.
The guests in yellow used a cobalt blue asooke as headtie while guests in blue had yellow onjawu asooke as headtie and they both looked elegant and turned out pretty in different styles to grace the occasion.
Here are some of the pictures of our stars as they shine in both color combos :
A very big thank you to Ms Cook for trusting us and patronizing us.
We look forward to doing more business with you.
God bless you abundantly!
Hiya my fabulous people,
Today, am bringing to you yet another star in our fabric.
Miss Wunmi got in touch with us through Bbm and asked for a beautiful tulle lace fabric for her introduction ceremony.
For those who don’t know, the Nigerian weddings ceremonies generally consist of 3basic steps /events. The first one is called the introduction ceremony mainly by Yorubas some other tribes in Nigeria call it “knocking of the door ” this event is like a mini engagement ceremony where the groom comes to the bride’s house with his immediate family and introduce himself formally to the bride’s family stating his intention to marry their daughter with some gifts for the bride’s family .
It is at this event that the dowry and every other requirements of the bride’s family will be discussed and the main engagement and wedding date is picked.
So this was the event that our star-Wunmi was planning for and you know she definitely needs to slay stylishly as the star of the day.
She finally settled for our cobalt blue and champagne gold tulle fabric with guipure edges and she did look super gorgeous as you can see in the pictures below :
What ya think? I absolutely think she killed it with that body #baddest.
Congratulations again Wunmi looking forward to planning your asoebi soon.
Your home is blessed already! Continue to shine! You are a 🌟
It’s a new week people, let’s make the most of it as we pursue and work towards our 2016 goals.
Today am excited to bring to you another set of stars that stepped out slaying in different styles for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Afolabi.
Ope (bride) got our contact details online and got in touch with us through WhatsApp. She had made her asooke somewhere and needed a beautiful orange fabric that is quite affordable to match the asooke.
We sent different options and she finally chose this unique orange tulle lace embellished with stones and pearls.
And on the 5th of December, her friends turned up in different amazing styles made out of our fabric .
Here are some pictures of stylish guests/stars at #opegoke2015 in Theasoebijunkie fabric for your perusal :
We will like to us this medium to say congratulations to Mr and Mrs Afolabi and pray that their home be continually filled with unspeakable joy and everlasting love in Jesus name Amen.
And a big thank you also for allowing us to be part of your Big Day. We are very grateful and we do appreciate your patronage.
Happy New Year everyone,
Thank God we made it to 2016! It’s going to be an amazing year for us all in Jesus name.
One of the amazing brides we had the privilege to style and also supply asoebi for was Mrs Esosa Obaseki who contacted us all the way from New York City, U. S. A for her traditional wedding.
Her asoebi color theme was purple and silver, so the first thing she ordered was a purple tulle lace fabric embellished with stones for her friends which was delivered to her friends in Lagos and Port Harcourt here in Nigeria.
After which we had another discussion on her outfit as well as her husband’s outfit for their traditional wedding.
She had a gold color theme in mind, we exchanged pictures and she later settled for this Gold onjawu asooke with blings on the gele as well as gold Agbada and cap for her husband.
She also wanted a customised gold hand fan for herself which we designed and in total created a regal look this gorgeous couple on their big day.
I hereby present to you pictures of our star couple for the month of December 2015 for your perusal:
Massive Congratulations to them and we wish them everlasting conjugal bliss.
Their home is blessed already and their stars will keep shining.
