I have a 7, years old guipure lace that is still as classy today as it was when I got it years back. I just need to revamp with beautiful accessories and matching color of headtie and I’m good to go. It’s a good fabric to buy and it’s perfect for iro and buba, kaftans, boubou and A-line dresses. It gives the “rich aunty vibes” any time and any day. This is actually my first post in 2019 ( covers face) and the year is half gone already. Let me just say I just got out of #writersblock because I keep trying to bring content here but some issues either from business or family will take up my time and I kept postponing.
But here we are today , a new post finally and I hope to continue to be consistent from now on.
So there’s a new kid in the block of fashion fabrics and I thought to show you guys this beautiful , skin friendly, comfortable and easy breezy fabric called MILK FIBRE LACE.
MILK FIBRE LACE is so similar to guipure but it’s lighter than guipure on the body and so soft on the skin.
I personally love this fabric because it’s versatile and beautiful. It feels light but of a good density and quality.
It’s a timeless classic (especially the white colour ) which is perfect for boubou or A-LINE dresses. You can style MILK FIBRE LACE into our evergreen top and wrapper aka iro and buba or make a shift dress.

Good to be back! Remember my last post HERE was my annual birthday sales and I will like to say a big thank you to everyone that brought Fabrics from us during the sales period.
So I had a photoshoot for the first time in my life *covers face* and it really feels good having cameras in my face 😂😂. So I might make this a regular thing for my birthdays because life is worth celebrating.
For my photo shoot, I used two Fabrics (lace and Ankara).
The multicolored guipure lace which is of high quality is sold out now and was 30,000 Naira for 5yards. I wanted a boubou style out of and my tailor did justice to that. I felt really good and free in the boubou.
The second Fabric is a multicolored Ankara Fabric which is still available in 2 color mix and it’s just 5,000 Naira for 6yards. I didn’t use the whole 6yards because I made a shift dress with wide sleeves (really love the style) and my kids made use of the remaining fabric.
Both Fabrics looked amazing on my skin tone ,my braids were styled and my makeup artist did beat my face that I couldn’t recognize myself Lol

I get series of mails from brides-to be on how to combine colors for their traditional wedding in a way that both their outfit and that of their grooms will compliment each other perfectly especially when the colors of the bride’s outfit is too feminine and the groom is just the type that hate colors or a groom that will never wear anything loud but the usual monochrome(black and white) combo.
