TGIF! The weekend is here and lots of weddings will take place tomorrow. Massive congratulations to my Bride Mayowa, may your home be filled with joy and everlasting peace. Can’t wait to see pictures of guests in her champagne gold and coral Asoebi. Also to Oyin who was also a vendor at the last Textile Fair Lagos, may you and your husband experience joy unspeakable as you come together as one. Its painful that I will not be able to attend these weddings but I know its a success already by Gods grace.

Any time I get to make a post on the ‘Love looks like us’ series, I get pretty excited . Not just because it showcases beautiful couples on their traditional wedding day but I also love the display of affection between the love birds .
This series helps couple to choose fabrics and colors that compliments each other for their traditional wedding outfits.
Let’s see some gorgeous couples celebrating their love in lovely native attires:

Hiya,
Hope your weekend was party filled? I have been so busy preparing for the TEXTILE FAIR LAGOS!

Am so excited about this second edition because its going to be much more bigger and better than the first one. So if you are in Lagos or will be in Lagos on the 27th of June 2015, please join us at Dehall events place beside Alausa shopping mall Ikeja and experience #fabricorgasm lol.
More details about the fair will be up in subsequent posts.

I get series of mails from brides-to be on how to combine colors for their traditional wedding in a way that both their outfit and that of their grooms will compliment each other perfectly especially when the colors of the bride’s outfit is too feminine and the groom is just the type that hate colors or a groom that will never wear anything loud but the usual monochrome(black and white) combo.

In view of this challenge, I have decided to start a new series tagged ‘ LOVE LOOKS LIKE US’ where I will be showcasing different brides and grooms in their traditional wedding outfits from different tribes in order to inspire and help you choose the right color combination together with your Man.
After which you can now proceed to choosing fabrics(thats where i come in .lol) that will make you command the attention of everyone on your Big day.
To contact me for your traditional wedding outfit fabrics, please call/whatsapp 07033040834 or send a mail to theasoebijunkie@gmail.com.

Now lets see the pictures of some gorgeous couple in trad wedding outfit declaring to everyone that love looks like them:
