2015 ASOEBI COLORS

2015 ASOEBI COLORS: YELLOW

Hello my lovelies,

Thank God its Monday! How was your weekend? If you are in Nigeria, how was the elections in your area? I pray that the right/best person emerge as the winner even as we wait for INEC’s declaration.

In my post on Friday, I mentioned that there will be no owambe this weekend because of the elections. But to my amazement yesterday when I opened my instagram page, I saw tags of party guests in beautiful fashion fabrics at a traditional wedding on Sunday *shocked*
It just boils down to the fact that Nigerians are happy people and not even the elections can stop us from putting our dancing shoes on and party all the way when we want to (proudly Naija)

Today, am bringing to you another edition of the 2015 asoebi colors series with focus on the color – YELLOW
This color reminds me of the hymn chorus …….all things bright and beautiful…………
Yellow is one color that naturally pops on our dark skin and make us shine bright like the sun as seen on stylish party guests in the pictures below:

Thats the goodness of the butterfly color! You can see the way the color glows on different skin tones in different fabrics especially the guipure lace which is currently the rave of the moment as per fashion fabrics in Nigeria and across Africa.

If you have any color in mind that you will like me to feature in these series, kindly send a mail to theasoebijunkie@gmail.com and your color will be next in line.

Do have a blessed week ahead.

2015 ASOEBI COLORS

2015 ASOEBI COLORS: COBALT BLUE

Hello people,

Lots of asoebi has been sold in the early part of 2015 for people who do not want election to disrupt their weddings/parties and I personally cant wait for the elections to be over so that we can move on and party more.

Yesterday was the wedding of my very first 2015 bride , whose wedding was suppose to be on the 28th of March but INEC decided to postponed the elections to that date. But my girl had to move her wedding forward and I had an amazing time at Margaret and Taiwo balogun’s wedding( will post pictures in a post that will be dedicated to them)

I coordinated their asoebi , which was a beautiful Ankara fabric and sego gele and the guests turn up exceptionally beautiful in that fabric which was pocket friendly.

So, if you are getting married and still confused about choosing colors and supplying asoebi to your guests, just give me a call on 07033040834 and your problems will be over one time.lol

The beautiful wedding I attended yesterday is actually the reason for starting this new series tagged- 2015 ASOEBI COLORS where I will be showcasing different colors for asoebi inspiration throughout the year.

My focus for today’s post is COBALT BLUE

This is one very bright and sexy color that suits every skin tone. I personally love this color especially when its used as a monotone i.e not mixed with any other color.

So in my usual manner, I present to you the first 2015 asoebi color in the pictures below for you to peruse and share your opinions about it in the comment box:
