Hello my beautiful readers,
Another edition of Ankara Junkie series is here! where we showcase gorgeous styles/designs made with the ever green Ankara prints. So incase you just bought Ankara fabric as aso-ebi for a party (nowadays people tend to use Ankara fabric as asoebi for most burial parties, church anniversaries and birthdays of aged persons) or you just got some for your native wear wardrobe as stated HERE. This post will be of great help in selecting styles that will make you #pepperdem but I will like to emphasize that when you want to replicate any of these styles, always consider your body type. Endeavor to choose a style worn by someone that has same stature or body type with you.

Hello my beautiful readers,
The wedding season is fully here now. And we have seen and also supplied lots of fabulous aso-ebi colors this year so today we will be looking at one of the hottest asoebi color for 2017 which is SILVER.
Before now, brides and party hosts prefer bright colors for their party guests asoebi but recently they tend to shift to the subtle and sexy side thus trying out not so loud yet gorgeous colors like silver. Some prefer to use the silver on silver monotone combination while others mix silver with black, white or red to spice it up a bit. I personally love the silver color because it pops out on every skin tone and it exudes class and elegance.
Incase you have an event coming up or you are planning for your wedding this year but you haven’t made a decision on your asoebi color, then Silver is one Color you might want to consider.
Below are pictures of some party guests offering so much ‘sauce’ in silver :

This post is to showcase the African men in different fabrics, colors and style to inspire other male folks that will like to step out stylishly on Fridays to work or on Sundays to church services or to the next owambe they intend to attend.
Men also have variety of fabrics to choose from like brocade, cotton fabrics, wool, atiku material, polished lace etc.
Most African men tend to choose calm and neutral colors they do not like to play with bright colors like the ladies. Examples of colors that men tend to use to sew native wears include: white, cream, beige, grey, black, off-white, navy-blue, sky-blue etc
The men folk also accessorize with mufflers, different types of caps/hats, sunglasses, wristbands, exquisite rings, coralbeads etc.
Below are some handsome African dudes with so much Finesse looking very fresh, eye-catching and smart as they display the Nigerian/African culture in different fabrics:

Laser cut lace fabric is intricate, elegant and has a classic pattern that makes you stand out in any outfit.

There are different types of laser cut designs as shown below :

Hello my beautiful readers,
Over the weekend, my friend from way back invited me to a wedding party at classique events place Oregun and I was excited about it because my social life has been a bit dull as I’m always busy with business and family. But this is one friend I can’t say no to and I really enjoyed myself which is why I took some pictures for a post because most of the time I share with you style post of customers and stylish women that catch my fancy in order to inspire our African/traditional fashion sense as well as different unique fabrics in stock for sale. And you don’t really get to see the face behind the brand so I think this is an opportunity to show my face.
Enjoy the beautiful pictures of myself and my friends at my Owanbe :
