THE ASO-EBI JUNKIE WEDDING: HAMMEDAT AND JAMIU

Hello people, Early this year i promised to deliver better content and improve my posts on here and i think i have actually improved a bit.

In view of this, am introducing a new series called ‘the aso-ebi junkie wedding’, where i will feature a particular wedding and showcase the aso-ebi styles for that wedding to inspire in selecting appropriate aso-ebi color/theme for your owanbe(s).

So for this series i have partnered with excellent photographer Shola Bolaji you can check his blog  here  and Facebook page here to exhibit lovely weddings with excellent pictures that showcase the beauty of aso-ebi and it’s true essence.

And my first post in this series is actually a Muslim wedding/Nikkah ceremony between Hameedat and Jamiu in Lagos Nigeria. I love the pink and white aso-ebi theme used by both men and women at this party.

Here they used two different fabrics as aso-ebi. Pink lace and fuchsia pink gele for the ladies as well as white atiku material and pink fila for the guys. These colors/fabrics came out really nice on all the guests as they use it to make different designs and style in honor of the couple.

PINK AND WHITE

Hello fab readers, am sure some of us are getting ready for one outing or the other  today being a Saturday………. please do enjoy yourself and remember to send me some souvenirs (wink).

I bumped into a wedding post on Bella naija and just can help but scream WOW at the aso-ebi of the guests (guys, ladies and elderly guests). I so love the aso-ebi and just can’t help but put it here for you my beloved followers/readers to see, it might just inspire you for your next event.

The aso-ebi color used is pink and white and it looked so good on all the invitees

Enough of my advert (lol), let’s see the evidence:

ALL DA LADIES LOOKING SO RADIANT IN PINK LACE AND WHITE GELE(HEADGEAR)

ALL DA BOBOS IN WHITE ‘ATIKU ‘ MATERIAL AND PINK ASO-OKE CAPS

 P.S:

Please note the way the aso-ebi is being combined on the ladies, guys and mamas

One color theme but interchanged between the invitees as some used pink for top(gele/caps) and white for body while others used pink for the body and white as gele. It came out so nice and the pink did not look too ‘girly’ on the guys and the guests as a whole.

I SO LOVE THESE WOMEN AND THEIR GOLD + PEACH ASO-OKE AS GELE ( even though it’s the same occasion, they are just a set of invitees who dared to look different)

A big congratulations to the couple (Mr. and Mrs. ladi Taiwo) and T.A.J.(the aso-ebi junkie) wishes them a blessed married life ahead.
